Red Square and City Center
Red Square is the main the oldest one in Moscow. The ancient Russian word Red meant beautiful and no doubt it is one of the best squares in the world.
During our walking tour you will visit Lenin's Tomb, enjoy both interior and exterior of St. Basil's Cathedral, the real emblem of Moscow. You will also have a chance to see a real orthodox service looking at the Church of Kazan Mother of God.
We continue our tour in the Alexander Garden, a memorial complex laid out on the foot of the Kremlin wall. You will see the Tomb of an Unknown Soldier with Eternal Flame, a monument to the Second World War. Kremlin guards keep watch here and you can witness changing of Guards of Honour, which occurs every hour. Brown granite blocks are monuments to Russian Hero-cities. In the Garden center is the Grotto Ruin, a monument to the war with Napoleon.
